“Tron: Uprising” Producer Asks You To Watch

“Tron: Uprising” Producer Asks You To Watch

January 15, 2013 By Mike Hickerson 1 Comment

While it premiered to solid ratings, Tron: Uprising has seen a decline in viewership of late. And while the series isn’t officially cancelled yet, unless things pick up soon, it could be gone.

Producer Edward Kitsis appealed via IGN to viewers to watch the show and possibly save it.

“I don’t know what the future [of Tron: Uprising] is now. I know at the present, I can say we need more viewers. I’m so proud of that show and I love that show and anyone who watches it loves that show. The problem is, not enough people are watching it. And so I would love to sound the alarm, because I love the characters and the world and it’s really… It’s a shame that more people aren’t watching it, because I think they’re missing out,” he says. “At this point, I don’t believe its fate has been decided. So if people keep watching, then there’s still a chance. Please watch. Tell your friends!”

Are you a fan of the show? Will you tune in? Have you tuned in and didn’t find it your cup of tea?

It’s a pity that this happened to the show as I found it highly enjoyable and did a great job at trying to bridge the gap leading up to Tron:Legacy.

Much of the blame must be placed at the feet of Disney as they were constantly messing around with the schedule making it hard for some people to keep following it. My DVR was able to locate it regardless of the day or time, but many other people don’t have that luxury and probably gave up watch it.
