Production has begun on the third and what could be final series of Sherlock.
The series has been wildly successful and helped launch the careers of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman into the stratosphere. But that success could be the reason that the series ends after the next run of episodes.
“Benedict and Martin love Sherlock. It’s been fabulous for both of them but it’s a question of schedules,” says a source to Sunday Express. “They will no doubt be signing off in style.”
There are no episodes planned beyond the next series.
