Syfy Will Air “Continuum”

Syfy is currently in talks to air the Canadian series “Continuum.”

Starring Rachel Nichols as a future police officer who travels to present day Vancouver in pursuit of terrorist, the series just completed its first 10 episode season.

No word yet on when Syfy will air the series.

    I think that it will be like Merlin…produced and aired first in its own country and then imported through SyFy to air here. I haven’t seen it myself but I have just started hearing good things about it on the web…will definitely check it out once it makes it here. At least its not reality tv…SyFy has got enough of that.

    We’ve been rather lucky with that method so far.

    Syfy has indeed continued to air Merlin, and also Lost Girl, but NBC bailed on Canadian production The Listener even though it’s still airing in Canada (3 whole seasons I have yet to see). ABC also bailed on Defying Gravity, not airing the entire season of that show, and I think CBS also bailed on a police procedural, Flashpoint (that ION of all networks picked up to air in syndication and in first run for it’s final season).

    So the history is mixed. I just hope that Syfy keeps airing Continuum like they’ve stayed with Merlin and Lost Girl… and that somehow I can eventually see the full seasons and episodes of The Listener!!
