Actor Sam Clafin has signed on for the upcoming Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire.
Clafin, who appeared in Snow White and the Huntsman, plays the Finnick who competes alongside our Katniss in the Quarter Quell.
Lionsgate confirmed the news yesterday.
He joins a huge cast of newcomers for the second film, which finds Katniss and Peta coming to the end of their Victory Tour across Panem, only to wind up back in the arena as part of the Quarter Quell, in which the new contestants are chosen from among the previous victors.
Finnick is one of the more popular characters among fans from the second novel.
