Who’s Leaving “Snow White and the Huntsman” Sequel

Who’s Leaving “Snow White and the Huntsman” Sequel

August 15, 2012 By Michael Hickerson 3 Comments

Maybe they’ll just call it The Huntsman.

Actress Kristen Stewart will not be a part of the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman.   Universal has decided the sequel will focus on Chris Hemsworth’s character of the Huntsman and not include Stewart’s Snow White.

The studio could be trying to distance itself from the real-life hub-bub over Stewart’s romantic entanglement with director Rupert Sanders, who is married.  The revelation that Stewart and Sanders were romantically involved led to the disolving of her relationship with Robert Pattinson and the meltdown of thousands of Twilight fans.

The new movie will be a spin-off from the original and it’s not certain yet if Sanders will be back.  It’s also unclear if Charlize Thereon, who played the Wicked Queen  in the original, will be back.

“The studio is currently exploring options to continue the franchise,” a Universal spokeswoman says.

Dude. That’s crazy, but now I wanna see Blade take on the Twilight teams too.

Alternate universe: Blade and Angel (like in the old Marvel Team-Ups) vs Twilight
