Hoping to rise in the ratings, NBC is looking to super villains to help it capture the ratings crown.
The network is reportedly looking at new series called Hench. Based on a comic created by Adam Beechen and Manny Bello, the story follows a down-on-his-luck average joe who starts doing temp work for supervillains to make ends meet.
The series is being written by Alexandra Cunningham, whose previous TV credits include Prime Suspect, Fastlane and Desperate Housewives.
The project is currently in development. If we get any news on progress towards a series, we’ll let you know.

Interesting direction to take…don’t ever recall a series centered on the supervillain side of things.
