Longer “Hobbit” Trailer Released

Now that we’re getting three Hobbit movies instead of two, you may be curious to see how the first installment looks.

A new, longer version of the previous trailer has been released and you can check it out below.

    Call me crazy, but that trailer seems almost identical to the one that’s been out for quite a while…

      Pretty much like the other one…seemed like there were a few added snippets (and a smaller singing scene).

    Yeah, when I hear a new trailer has been released, I tend to expect it to be something more different than the previous trailer. I think this new trailer was 98% the same as the old. Shenanigans!

    One thing I did notice was they slowed down Gandalf’s recitation of the dwarf names, plus added sound fx to some of the scenes. In particular: Bombur collapsing on the bench; when Bilbo pulls on his suspenders there’s a fabric rustle; when Bilbo jumps the fence the paper rustles. That’s what I noticed, anyway. Plus a brief shot of Gandalf leading a group running through a forest.

    The singing was identical.
