With the Hunger Games set to hit DVD and Blu-Ray on August 21st, fans of the series can expect some tie-in merchandising to hit stores.
Among the merchandise is some rather pricey items in Target stores. The retailer announced that it will sell a solid 14-K gold Mockingjay pin like the one Katniss wears in the film. The price tag: $999.
They will also offer a replica of Katniss’ leather jacket for $349. Or you may want to go for an autographed lithograph of the actors from the film for $699.
If you do decide to buy, you may want to arrive at Target early. These items will be limited to 100 of each.
The jacket and lithograph will go on the market Aug. 18, while the Mockingjay pin won’t hit shelves until Aug. 20. The DVD and Blu-rays are due for an Aug. 21 release.
