Is the long proposed reboot of Blake’s Seven finally close to becoming a reality?
According to Deadline, Georgeville Television is shopping a pilot for a reboot of the iconic BBC series. Casino Royale director Martin Campbell has signed on to direct and Heroes writer Joe Polanski will pen the pilot script.
The original series ran on the BBC for four seasons, following a group of rebels as they attempted to overthrow the totalitarian Federation. The original was created by the same man who gave us the Daleks, Terry Nation.
The ending of the show is one of the most talked about in the genre. If you haven’t seen it, you may want to find a way to view it before the reboot happens.
I have been looking for this series for the last couple of years, even by alternative methods, and cannot find anything. I would love to see this series before the reboot.
