Which Reboot Has Paramount Put the Brakes On?

Which Reboot Has Paramount Put the Brakes On?

June 16, 2012 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans can breath a sigh of relief today. It appears that reboot of their franchise, headed up by Michael Bay has been put on hold.

Paramount has decided to put the brakes on the reboot of the franchise, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Production has been shut down “indefinitely” on the project so the script can get work. Paramount may be gun shy when it comes to big-budget tent-pole projects without a solid, complete script after the debacle that World War Z has become.

Of course, the project isn’t entirely dead yet. But it appears that fans can rest easy that the controversial aspects of Bay’s reboot won’t make it to the silver screen any time soon.
