Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks Pictures has won a bidding war for a found footage spec script, Glimmer.
Details on the project are being kept under wraps, but it’s said the project Amblin-esque and involves teens and time travel.
The script from newcomer Carter Blanchard set off a six-figure bidding war in Hollywood, with DreamWorks and Paramount among the final contenders. According to the Deadline, Speilberg called Blanchard to say that he (Spielberg) wanted to work on the project.

I bet it isn’t even that good of a script, especially if Spielberg wants to work on it. I don’t like most of his films.
