Caesar is headed back to theaters.
After the box office success of Rise of the Planet of the Apes last summer, Caesar will be back for a second installment in 2014. Twentieth Century Fox announced earlier this week that Dawn of the Planet of the Apes will open on May 23, 2014.
Andy Serkis will be back as Caesar. Also returning is director Rupert Wyatt and writers Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa. Joining the project is writer from Scott Z. Burns.
No word yet on if James Franco or Frieda Pinto will return for the sequel.
If it’s not Serkis I’m not sure I’d be interested in watching.
How many “of the”‘s can they fit in the title, Dawn of the Rise of the Planet of the Apes of the Virus of the Thing of the Dead. Ok, that’s my sorta Inside joke, looking forward to this film.
