Following in the tradition of Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street, another horror franchise is headed to living rooms.
According to TV Line, Wes Craven’s Scream saga is being developed as a series by MTV. Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley are attached to produce the pilot and are currently looking for a writer for the episode.
No word yet on if Craven and writer Kevin Williamson will be involved in the possible series.
The first three Scream films were huge hits for Dimension Pictures. The fourth installment was a flop commercially and critically.
