How Long Is “Dark Knight Rises”

How Long Is “Dark Knight Rises”

June 4, 2012 By Mike Hickerson 4 Comments

Sounds like you may want to spring for the refillable popcorn and drink when you check out The Dark Knight Rises later this summer.

AMC theaters lists a running time of two hours and forty-five minutes for the Christopher Nolan superhero epic, which hits theaters on July 20th.

While that hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, it does sound like it will give the film plenty of time to wrap up the epic Batman saga and not feel rushed.

And if you want to watch Batman Begins and The Dark Knight again before Rises, AMC has announced they will have a marathon of both films leading up to the midnight opening of Rises on July 19th.

If I can sit through 11 and half hours watching LOTR trilogy, this will be a piece of cake!

Very cool. Now, wonder if the marathon will be in IMAX? We’ve decided to spring for IMAX since about an hour of “Rises” was actually FILMED in IMAX and isn’t “upconverted”.

It could be 10hrs & I’d hook up a urinary catheter just to keep in my seat & watch it
