“Green Arrow” Called a “Lock” For the CW

As pilot season winds down and the networks begin to make their final picks of which shows will go to series, the Hollywood Reporter predicts that the new Green Arrow series is a “lock” for the CW.

The trade publication  notes that the dark, gritty adaptation of the Green Arrow comic is virtually a “lock” to be picked up for a first season order. The series stars Stephen Arnell as the uber-archer, battling crime on all fronts.

The full list also features a few other interesting tidbits: J.J. Abrams’ Revolution at NBC is looking good, along with CBS’ Sherlock Holmes reboot Elementary. Shawn Ryan’s ABC military sci-fi-ish drama Last Resort also has a lot of buzz, but the spectacular failure of The River is apparently hurting its chances.
