Now that HBO has renewed Game of Thrones for a third season, author George R.R. Martin is teasing fans a bit with some details about what to expect from the fantasy series in the future.
“Like the first two seasons, it will be ten episodes long,” Martin wrote on his blog. “This one will cover (roughly) the first half or thereabouts of A Storm of Swords, the third novel in the series.”
The writer also revealed that he will write the seventh installment, which has the working title ‘Autumn Storms’.
No details yet on if or how the third installment in the epic fantasy series, A Storm of Swords, will be split for the television run.
