Kenneth Branagh could be the next director to bring Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan to the silver screen.
Branagh is reportedly in conversations with Paramount to take over the directing duties for the next Jack Ryan film. Jack Bender left the project last week.
Branagh directed last summer’s Thor and could be tapped to work on the reboot of the film series with Chris Pine in the lead role. Filming on the project could begin when Pine is done shooting the next Star Trek installment.
I hope they go with Cardinal of The Kremlin first!
Can we get a John Clark/Rainbow Six movie next?
Agree with both of them, but – I know its not a Jack Ryan book – I would LOVE to see “Red Storm Rising” made into a movie, although its so big, it might need a multi-part TV series. Easily my favourite Tom Clancy book…
