The Primeval spin-off has cast actors from Eureka and the Vampire Dairies.
Eureka‘s Niall Matter (Zane) and Vampire Diaries‘ Sara Canning (Jenna) will star in Primeval: New World.
Matter’s character is described as an “inventor and visionary hero” (that kind of plays into his Eureka role, at least the inventor part), while Canning will serve as a “predator attack expert.”
The series is currently filming in Vancouver and will wrap production of its first season later this month.
Nice! I hope they make it available in the US. Primeval on the BBC was a fun little show after they got through the first season. It looks like they’re tapping folks from Stargate and Eureka to work on this. That’s a pretty good pedigree. Count Chav on board!
