Ouija is back at Universal.
After parting ways with the movie version of the popular board game, Universal has picked up a retooled version of the project.
The original version was to be directed by McG and have a budget of $100 million. The new version will cost significantly less. Deadline reports it will be more in the $5 million range.
Ouija will be produced by Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir, Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, and Blumhouse Productions.
