Actress Lily Collins is in talks for the lead role in the Evil Dead reboot.
According to Deadline, Collins would play Mia, one of five students who head for a cabin in the woods and an encounter with evil. It’s report that the role of Mia would be similar to that of Ash in the original version.
The character of Mia would be especially vulnerable to the forces of evil due to a recent overdose.
Collins plays Snow White in the upcoming Mirror Mirror directed by Tarsem Singh and previously was seen in The Blind Side and Priest.

They aren’t even trying to scrape the bottom of the idea barrel anymore.
