Abrams Denies Khan Rumors

December 5, 2011 By Michael Hickerson 3 Comments

The Internet was buzzing over the weekend that actor Benicio Del Toro, who has been cast as the adversary in the upcoming Star Trek movie, would be taking on the role Khan Noonian Singh.

Director J.J. Abrams has denied the reports, saying that Khan isn’t the adversary for Kirk and company in the upcoming film.

Abrams was asked about the report and replied, “Not true.”  It is rumored that Del Toro will take on a role familiar to Trek fans.

We’ll have the official word as soon as we hear it.

People are gonna be saying that Khan’s gonna be in the next movie until the week after the next movie is in theaters aren’t they? Some people just can’t accept the evidence that they’re wrong no matter how much of it there is.

No, I’m not going to make a joke there. I was tempted, but I won’t.

Khan would move them from reboot to remake. Sounds like Hollywood doesn’t it?
