“Terra Nova” Ratings Improve

“Terra Nova” Ratings Improve

November 9, 2011 By Mike Hickerson 4 Comments

Whether or not Terra Nova is getting better in terms of quality is up for debate but the show is improving in the ratings.  According to the Hollywood Reporter, ratings for the freshman drama were up 17% over and 24% in the coveted 18-49 adult demographic  Monday evening to  7.7 million total viewers, 2.6 rating in adults 18-49 demographic. Its lead-out House (7.5 million, 2.7) also grew 8 percent and 14 percent, respectively.

The rise in ratings was significant but it wasn’t enough for the Fox line-up to make a huge dent in the ratings juggernaut of CBS’s comedy block.

How I Met Your Mother (10.4 million, 4.4) and 2 Broke Girls (11.3 million, 4.5) both improved 5 percent in the demo, Two and a Half Men (14.5 million, 5.1) posted a 9-percent improvement and Mike & Molly (12 million, 4.2) saw the biggest jump: 14 percent. CBS topped every half hour in primetime for the easy ratings victory.

Debate? The slice crew makes you feel like a complete and utter idiot if you happen to dare to disagree with their god-like infallible opinions.

LOL! Yeah, they rarely change their opinions… but then again… rarely do I. I don’t love the show, but I enjoy it for what it is. It keeps me coming back week-to-week. It’s popcorn fun… period.

I happen to like Terra Nova. I wish that they would expand story on the glyphs out on the outcrop. I think that they love that dinosaur wall set too much. They need to go out and about. Just my two cents.
