Overheard at New York Comic Con:

A mother was doing her best in adverse circumstances to guide her young daughter through a throng of people at New York Comic Con. As they neared me, the young girl pulled on her mother’s hand to get her attention and I overheard the following exchange:

Little Girl: “Where are you taking me?”
Concerned Mother: “We’re trying to find a place that is less crowded.”
Little Girl: “I don’t think we’re going to find that place.”

Last year’s Con was attended by nearly 100,000 pop culture fans. While this year’s figures haven’t been released yet, it would be fair to say that the sold out event was very well attended…
