Lev Grossman’s best-selling The Magicians has been optioned for television by Fox.
The book focuses on a group of young adults in New York who learn how to harness magic.
The adaptation will be written by X-Men: First Class and Thor co-writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, according to Deadline.
The project, which has a script commitment from Fox, will be produced by Milk’s Michael London, Night at the Museum’s Shawn Levy and Prison Break’s Marty Adelstein.
Grossman recently published a sequel, The Magician King.
