Chuck has cast Sarah’s mom for the upcoming fifth system.
Michael Ausiello reports that former Charlie’s Angels star Cheryl Ladd has signed on for the role.
The character will turn up in episode eight of the series, which is slated to air in January.
Ausiello says: ”I’m told mother and daughter share a very complicated past and haven’t seen each other in five years. Something tells me we’re about to find out why.”
The news comes after Ausiello’s site TV Line held a poll to see who readers would like to see as Sarah’s mom. Ladd won the poll with 27% of the votes.
