The Highlander reboot is moving forward. Director Juan Carlos Frenadillo will step into the director’s chair for the project, according to the Hollywood Reporter. He directed 28 Weeks Later.
Art Marcum and Matt Holloway wrote the screenplay for the new version, which is based on the original concept of an immortal Scottish swordsman who must do battle with an equally invincible barbarian. Neal H. Moritz and Peter Davis will produce along with Enrique López Lavigne and Belen Atienza.

NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!! While the original movie can be viewed as somewhat dated, it is still a great film, with an interesting cast, and a fantastic score of songs by Queen… Making a reboot of this movie would not only stain the memory of this great movie, but it would underscore the complete lack of original thinking going on in the movie industry today!!!
