Best-selling author Neil Gaiman has an idea for the upcoming Halloween season–don’t just hand out candy, hand out a love of scary literature.
Gaiman has started the All Hallow’s Read to encourage sharing of “scary books” during the upcoming Halloween season. Gaiman says that you can give the book the week of Halloween or on the actual Halloween night itself. He does advise making sure the scary level of the book is age appropriate (no Stephen King novels to younger readers, for example) and that you can give the book as a gift in e-book, dead-tree or audio book format.
