This is a new one on me. Scene incomplete owing to approaching looters. Unbelievable times. #Sherlock

In the USA it was shown as part of MASTERPIECE THEATER on PBS.

    See: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/sherlock/

It was an amazing MODERN adaptation of Sherlock Holmes. Also available on DVD.

PBS ran the first season of Sherlock as part of “Mystery!”

I hope BBC America will pick up series two of Sherlock. There would be fewer cuts than the PBS version.

I never knew it aired here on PBS… I’d been waiting to see if it would show up on BBC America!

I finally caught the first episode, on Netflix Streaming at a friend’s place, and it was amazing. I really can’t wait to see more, and I hope I don’t have to wait until I can get a streaming device of my own to watch it!

This show is absolutely incredible and series 1 is available on DVD. We caught it on PBS’s Masterpiece Mystery. Series 2 is going to be slightly delayed as both actors are currenly filming in The Hobbit, Martin Freeman playing Bilbo Baggins and Benedict Cumberbatch as the voice of Smog. I can’t recommend this series enough.
