Been waiting along time for this one to finally hit the big screen. And, yes it is Rice, except in Tennessee where it is Wright. 😉 Fixed.

If they screw this up, I’m going to by a nuke from the Taliban and use it in ways that are most unwise.

Not to be prurient or anything, but aren’t they a little overdressed?
And that Green Martian looked /way/ too skinny

While I would love to see them adhere to the source material, I have no problem with the characters wearing more clothes. They are trying to get more people into the theaters, not make an adult movie with all naked actors.

As for the Green Martian, I believe that is a female character named Sola who would therefore be smaller than the male Green Martians.

Anyway, I’ve marked my calendar & am looking forward to the movie.

Looks good to me. The Peter Gabriel cover of an Arcade Fire tune doesn’t hurt either, I wonder if that’s just for the trailer or if Pete is doing sound track.

I like the people involved in the making of this film, both in front of the camera and behind it, so I’m hopeful that this will be a good movie!!!
