Watch “Doctor Who” On Facebook

BBC Worldwide will begin offering episode of Doctor Who for viewing on Facebook.

The commercial arm of the BBC will launch digitally-remastered archive Doctor Who shows, including  the classic story “Tomb of the Cyberman” , and End of the World, on Facebook, using the social network’s credits payment system.

Visitors to the official Doctor Who page can watch a selection of episodes from the Doctor Who archive, along with recent episodes form the latest series.   The serials included are a selection of classic serials and new series stories, including the first story aired “Unearthly Child” and a story not yet available on DVD, “The Greatest Show in the Galaxy.”

    Bah. You can watch them, but not for free. You have to buy “Facebook credits” to spend on the video player.

      Who would want to if Facebook is offering such garbage as “The Greatest Show in the Galaxy”???

      I’m not a fan of the Sylvester McCoy years, but that episode stooped to new lows as far as Dr. Who stories go!
