How About Christina Hendricks as Wonder Woman?

How About Christina Hendricks as Wonder Woman?

June 21, 2011 By Mike Hickerson 3 Comments

Should he ever get the chance to direct a Wonder Woman movie, director Nicolas Winding Refn says he knows who he’d like to cast in the title role–actress Christina Hendricks.

Hendricks is best known for her work on Mad Men and she also featured in Joss Whedon’s Firefly as Mal’s wife Saffron.

Refn told New York Magazine: “If I ever get to do [the Wonder Woman movie], she’s going to be [her].”

Hendricks has already been the subject to rumors concerning the role and has said that she would “love” to appear as Wonder Woman.

“I heard that rumor too – I don’t know where it got started but I love it!” she said on the Rachael Ray talkshow late last year. “I’ve been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life! I’d love to [do it]. That would be such fun. Let’s put it out there!”

I like the actress, but she’s not “Wonder Woman”.
    The director is smoking crack.

I have this image of her popping out of her top every time there was an action scene.
Not really apporpriate for a pg 13 movie
