It’s only been a couple of years since Peter Jackson gave us an updated version of King Kong. But it appears that one of the movies’ first monsters is headed back to screens with a new take on the story.
According to Deadline, a new animated version is headed our way and this one will be told from King Kong’s perspective.
20th Century Fox will produce the film from a screenplay by Christian Magalhaes & Bob Snow. It is based on a story by Mike Weber, who’ll also produce.
