How about “none of the above”. The entire last season is a complete fail.

None of the above. Seeing Apokolips violate the rings of Saturn. Lex giving Clark the inspiration to defeat Darkseid…because LEX wants to be the one to defeat Clark. Luthorcorp becoming LXCorp.
The closing credits.

Not to be too pedantic, but (spoiler alert) Lois & Clark didn’t actually tie the knot did they? And they still hadn’t quite got married in the ‘7 years later’ epilogue either 🙂

None of the above. The plot I found pathetic. I did, however, love the music, both the further development of the themes that Mark Snow and Louis Fevre created for the show, as well as the grand reprise of the John Williams Superman theme. The show itself was an utter disappointment.

Maybe finally seeing him in the super suit. I had a hard time staying awake and missed the end of it. It was the most maudlin series finale I’ve ever seen. Way too much agonizing! Maybe I can make it through the rerun…

I’m with those who said the John Williams theme.

disapointing… they hype Clark up the whole as the “light” in the world and how he’s just sooo awesome and the only one who could save us.. blah, blah, blan the big payoff is that he pushes the planet out of the way in a scene that took like 5 seconds?! and as a side note.. I like Clarks dad and all… but did he HAVE to be in almost every scene?! they shouldn’t have killed him in the first place. I just seemed like they were OVER compensating.
It’s hard for the finale of a 10-year series not to be disappointing.
I enjoyed the CG rendering of the planet Apokolips. It would look great in a real “New Gods” movie. Same for the CG rendering of Darkseid’s face with the lava-like glow through the cracks in his face.
I’m disappointed that they pulled a “Heroes” and never showed us a proper battle royale between Clark and Darkseid.
Take a look at the series finale of the animated “Justice League Unlimited” for the right way to do Supes vs Darkseid.
hey,
The whole 10 years is just an alternative to the original movie where clark disappeared for 30 years in a virtual time machine. Clark grew up here with issues you could follow in the comic book. The writing kept you coming back otherwise you would not have stayed to the end. The blending of the original Superman Music (John Williams) was timed well and wrapped it up pretty well. I did note they really kept Tom out of the close up shots of flying. I think Hollywood wanted to break the superstition following the actors that portrayed this superhero.
