TV Guide Predicts Which Bubble Shows Will Be Back

April 19, 2011 By Mike Hickerson 4 Comments

It’s the time of year when fans of shows are either breathing a sigh of relief or sweating out the upcoming TV up-fronts.

Yes, it’s the time of year when shows are on the bubble.  We already know that Stargate: Universe won’t be back (boo!) and Fringe will be (yay!).   But there are still a few shows on the bubble that we’re big fans of here at Slice of SciFi (and you probably are as well).

Of course, it wouldn’t be renewal season without worrying for the future of Chuck and it’s looking like fans of No Ordinary Family and V should get ready for bad news in the coming weeks.

And while we’re not experts, the good people at TV Guide are.  They’ve listed all the shows currently on the bubble and given the odds for renewal.

S#%^ My Dad Says is only around as a backup option in case Fringe gets cancelled. If it does, the entire cast will move over to SMDS and finish out their myth arc is a far more comedic manner.

In the section on THE CHICAGO CODE (a *very* good show, IMHO) they say … “Like several Fox dramas (Lie to Me, Human Target), the show pulls consistent but less than exciting numbers. ”

I’m sorry .. Human Target is *not* a drama.
