Best-selling novelist Stephen King is no stranger to writing for television.
Fans of The X-Files may recall that he penned an episode for the series’ fifth season. And he’s adapted several of his famous works for TV and movies.
Now the King of horror is in talks to write an episode for AMC’s The Walking Dead.
At this weekend’s Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, actress Laurie Holden revealed that King is in talks to pen an episode for the upcoming fourth season. Holden did not give further details on the potential episode.
King has a long relationship with Dead producer Frank Darabont, which could help get the horror writer into the writer’s room for this season.
