Cage Pushing Supernatural Angle in “Ghost Rider” Sequel

March 3, 2011 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

While many of us may wonder if we really need a sequel to “Ghost Rider,” actor Nicholas Cage isn’t one of them.

The actor says that when it comes to the second installment, he is pushing to increase the supernatural angle over the first film. Cage promises Digital Spy that the new movie is “not going to be like any comic book movie you’ve ever seen. We keep stressing that Ghost Rider is the most supernatural superhero of all and that’s going to really come out in this movie.”

“Brian Taylor … he was a big advocate for me playing Ghost Rider the character himself, and that allowed me to go in a completely new direction with this version of it,” said Cage. “‘Spirit of Vengeance’ will be an entirely new experience.”

The film is ramping up towards production now.

Yeah, because there was nothing supernatural in the first movie.

What the hell is Cage smoking?

‘Cage Pushing Audience Levels of Tolerance for His Lame Ass’ on equally lame-ass ‘Ghost Rider’ sequel. It is not my fault that the dope bought 17 castles around the world and is now broke, but I have to see him in every other movie that is getting released, and BECAUSE of him, I choose not to watch them. Why can’t he pick and choose the movies that are right for him?! Matchstick Men – excellent. Weatherman – excellent. Leaving Las Vegas – excellent. Drive Angry – somebody fucking shoot him before he fails to act again!
