Will Oscar-nominated actor Javier Bardem take on the role as Roland in the upcoming “Gunslinger” adaptations?
That appears to be the case. According to MTV, the actor has been offered the role in the series and is “locked in psychologically” to play Roland according to producer Brian Grazer.
““He really wants to do it, so we’re absolutely rooting for him to do it,” added Grazier.
Grazier went on to say that the team is focused on casting Roland first and will look at other roles once they lock in that part.
