It was a good weekend if you’re Justin Beiber or Adam Sandler.
Both had new movies opening. And both movies had solid debuts, finishing in a virtual dead heat for the top spot at the box-office.
Initial estimates show Sandler’s “Just Go With It” taking the box-office crown with $31 million in ticket sales. But the Justin Bieber film “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” was close behind, taking in an estimated $30.3 million.
Final figures and tallies are due today, which could mean a change in the rankings.
In third was the animated “Gnomeo and Juliet,” taking in $25.5 million.
Fourth place went to “The Eagle” and fifth went to “The Roommate.”
