Earlier today we reported that actress Cobie Smulders is in conversations to play a female SHIELD agent in the upcoming “Avengers” movie.
Now comes news that another television actress (ironically one that features in the same time slot as Smulder’s “How I Met Your Mother”) is in the running for the role of Ms. Marvel.
“Chuck”‘s Yvonne Strahovski is reportedly the front runner for the role of Carol Danvers aka Ms. Marvel.
The rumor comes from a fan-site devoted to the Australian actress who plays Sarah Walker on “Chuck.” The site quotes a Marvel insider as saying that Strahovski is close to being cast in the role.
Of course, this is all just rumor and we’ve got nothing confirmed on it just yet. We’ll let you know when we hear more.
