Gordon-Levitt Joins “Dark Knight Rises”

Gordon-Levitt Joins “Dark Knight Rises”

February 2, 2011 By Mike Hickerson 3 Comments

Joseph Gordon-LevittAdd another cast member to “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt has joined the cast, but his role is being kept secret (for now).

Many speculated that the actor could be in the running to play the Riddler. But director Christopher Nolan has denied stories that the Riddler will be part of the film.

We don’t know if Gordon-Levitt will play a friend or foe of Batman.

One interesting speculation on Blastr sees him playing the Boy Wonder.

Wooot! I was seeing him as Riddler but he can bring something good to any role they stick him in. I hope it’s not Robin, he’s too old. I’d like him as Deadshot also.

This dude is awesome, and between him in DKR and him in Looper, I’m friggin’ psyched for the 2012 movie season.

Nolan has said he’ll never put Robin in his Batman movies. Levitt is the obvious choice to continue the Joker role. The same acting style as Ledger. The spitting image of him as well. I pray they don’t let the Joker role fall to the wayside.
