The character died after the Green Goblin tossed her off George Washington Bridge. Spidey used a web line to save her, but that move ended up being a fatal one.

So, will the new reboot follow the same pattern?
Not any time soon says actress Emma Stone, who plays Gwen in the upcoming reboot.
“There’s a few Spider-Men, so I may have to keep at it for a couple of years,” Stone tells Jay Leno, adding that she and co-star Andrew Garfield have signed multi-picture, multi-year deals to be part of the franchise.
