Actress Jane Lynch is everywhere these days.
She’s won an Emmy for her work on “Glee” and she reprized her role as Charlie’s therapist on Monday’s “Two and a Half Men.”
And in 2011, she’ll lend her voice to the long-running animated hit, “The Simpsons.”
Lynch will lend her voice to Roz, a rival at the power paint for Homer.
“This woman seems terrifically nice, but then it turns out she’s just completely undermining him every step of the way and gets his job — until he can discover her one weakness with the help of Ned Flanders,” “Simpsons” executive producer Al Jean tells EW.
“She can do edge, sweetness, and a mix of both,” he says of the actress, who recorded her lines last week. “I’m just embarrassed we didn’t ask her before she was so successful because she’s funny in everything she does. We were very happy when she said yes.” The episode, titled “Replaceable You,” is slated to air early next season.

I haven’t watched The Simpsons on a regular basis in years, but I’ll have to make a point of seeing Jane’s episode.
What I really want to know is when she’ll be back on Criminal Minds. I love her chemistry with Matthew Gray Gubler when he visits his sweet, schizophrenic mother. 🙂
