“Fringe” Will Delve Further Into the Observer

After two weeks off for post-season baseball, “Fringe” is back tomorrow night with a brand new episode.

It’s the first of several for the show. And executive producer Jeff Pinker teases that in the next few weeks, we’ll see another Observer-centric storyline.

“Yes, there’s an Observer-centric episode coming up,” he tells E! Online. “Let’s just say that what we love to do with the Observer episodes… is give the fans a chance to understand a little more about what they’re about, and this time [it] won’t disappoint.”

He also denied that Fox were becoming concerned with the show’s increasingly complicated mythology.

“Fox has been nothing but wonderful and supportive,” he claimed. “There have been no grumblings at all. We have decided that we would rather turn out a show with perhaps a slightly smaller fanbase, but one that’s really… passionate.”
