ABC Cuts “V” Order

October 20, 2010 By Mike Hickerson 11 Comments

Just as we are celebrating the full-season order for “Chuck,” there comes news that the second season of “V” won’t debut until January and when it does we’ll only get ten episodes.

ABC has cut its order for the sophomore series from 13 to ten. That means the show will have to juggle some things to make sure the entire season storyline fits into ten episodes says producer Scott Rosenbaum.

ABC will air the series with its new fall show, “No Ordinary Family” on Tuesdays starting in January.

Not surprised! ABC is doing some crazy ass stuff! They had a GoldMine in Legend of the Seeker, but don’t promote it or put it on a major station or at a time when people will see it, yet faithful millions found it, loved it and cultivated it. Only to lead ABC to cancel the show?????

Don’t know who’s in charge of programming, but they need looked at!

Oh my! Legend of the Seeker had such potential to be a great show! But nooooo they had to ruin everything about Wizard’s First Rule! Was one of the worst book to tv show production!!!

Just wait, the show will be cancelled before it hits the air. ABC is quickly following in Fox’s footsteps…

The real kicker is that shows like Legend of the Seeker and V should be snapped up by SYFY, but instead they would rather have wrestling and the like.

I don’t know why people complain, V is one of the worst shows on TV. Even though LotS is a good show magnetudes better than V, ABC would never get the ratings high enough to justify its existance.

As long as we get lots of scenes of nearly-naked Logan Huffman, it’ll be ok. 🙂

“V is one of the worst shows on TV.”

Uh … no, it’s not. I’ve seen much much worse.

Yeah, like pretty much everything on Syfy that isn’t Eureka, SGU, Caprica or Warehouse 13.

I stopped watching V after about 4 episodes. It just didn’t do anything for me. But it’s not the worst thing on TV by a long shot.

Dissapointing but not surprising!!!! It started to get better and I hoped it would continue. This does not show much support for the show. I think the death for this show though will be No Ordinary Family!!!! This show really sucks and could take down V if V is not the lead in show. As to LOTS it is an ejoyable show even if it is formulaic and predictable as well.

I think this news just gave me permission to delete my Tivo Season Pass for V. I wasn’t really excited about it coming back anyway.

V is actually a pretty decent show..not the best..but pretty good..if ABC would stick with it, i’m sure it would build its base & viewership..but if they don’t stick with it, SyFy should pick it up..
