While Ed Norton may have left the Marvel silver screen universe, that doesn’t mean the Oscar nominated actor isn’t open to more super hero films in his future.
In fact, Norton would jump at the chance to be a part of the next Batman film.
“Chris Nolan’s making the best ones out there by far.” Norton tells IGN. ”I’d do one with him. He’s set a new bar for sure, and I think he’s done a great, great job.”
That doesn’t mean that Norton has been cast or is in the running for a role in the film. We don’t know any details on the film other than we’ll get a new Nolan-directed Batman movie in 2012.
And while we’ve heard rumors that the Riddler could be the villain in the film, nothing has been confirmed yet. But that doesn’t mean Norton isn’t interested in playing Edward Nigma in the third Nolan Bat-movie.

I’m not sure how the Riddler would work in the Nolan Bat-verse, but if he does show up Norton would be an interesting choice to play him. I just hope they can stay away from the spandex this time around.
