The long anticipated sequel to the Oscar-winning 80’s icon “Wall Street” cashed in at the box-office this weekend. “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” took in $19 million in its first weekend at the box-office, good enough for first place.
In second was Zack Snyder’s “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole” with $16.3 million. The movie was bolstered by solid numbers for IMAX theaters, according to USA Today.
Third place went to last week’s number one, “The Town.” The film took in $16 million in its second week, dropping off 33%. “Easy A” took fourth place and the new comedy “You Again” took fifth.
