“Seeker” Fans Try for People’s Choice Award

September 22, 2010 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

“Legend of the Seeker” fans haven’t given up hope there could be a third season for the syndicated show.

Their latest publicity attempt involves the upcoming People’s Choice Awards.

Here’s how you can help the show.

It might be a really good opportunity for LotS to get the attention of the mainstream media, so I did a post on the forum: http://forums.legendoftheseeker.org/showthread.php/3980-**People-s-Choice-Awards-golden-opportunity**?p=101351&viewfull=1#post101351 plus Twitter and Facebook. Pls pimp everywhere!!

More power to ’em, but if you follow Bridget Regan’s tweets – she’s mentioned ebay auctions for the costumes from Seeker so that seems like the final nail in the coffin…

Actually selling the costumes is not a huge deal 🙂 She had a ton of white confessor dresses because they were always getting ruined by the fight scenes, etc. The costumes are expensive yes, but they had a lot of them.. so selling one white dress or one of the black ones isn’t that big of a loss. The bigger loss is if all of the sets are gone.. which I’m not sure if they are?

Unfortunately the reality is that the show is canceled and there are currently no plans to bring it back. But that doesn’t mean that’s the end.. with a lot of new viewership and $$ being brought to the show, it could come back. We fight to bring new viewers and more money.. 🙂

Also, I love this People’s Choice idea!
