As if the final installment of the “Twilight” series wasn’t going to make huge piles of cash already, someone at Summit Entertainment has decided that it should make even more. And how can they make even more piles of cash?
Charge screaming fan-girls more to see Jacob, Edward and Bella in 3-D.
Summit is considering converting the film for 3-D reports Gossip Cop. The film won’t be shot in 3-D but would be given the same up-conversion used on films like “Clash of the Titans.”
Summit hasn’t officially decided to pursue the conversion just yet. We’ll keep our ears open for details and bring them to you here at Slice of SciFi.
Comment 1 – Are you kidding us? They’re greedy enough splitting the last one into two parts, now they’re converting it to 3D? Haven’t they learned that this process NEVER works? Clash of the Titans is the perfect example of that.
Comment 2 – I just saw yesterday on imdb … It’s not the last turdlight movie after all. There’s some side novella Meyer “wrote” and they’re going to turn that into a sixth movie. Hasn’t that cow been milked to death yet? Sheesh!
im not a huge fan of twilight… but OMG seriously hollywood.. 3D???!??? that has to be the WORST format ever.
guess this will be one movie i will (gladly) wait for on video.
