Badler Confirmed For Season Two of “V”

August 9, 2010 By Mike Hickerson 5 Comments

A few weeks ago, we brought you news that actress Jane Badler was in the running to join the cast of “V” this season.

Badler played the original version of Anna in the 80’s mini-series and show a producer Scott Rosenbaum revealed earlier this summer that he was looking at a role for Badler in the rebooted vision of the series.

TV Guide confirms that Badler will return and she will be in the first episode of season two.

If you don’t want to know about who she’ll play, stop reading now….

Badler is set to play the mother of Anna on the new season.

When V returns, we will learn that Anna (Morena Baccarin) is keeping her mother prisoner on the mother ship in a never-before-seen section that has been designed to look like the Visitors’ home planet.

“V” returns this fall on ABC.

Great casting! It seems the casting directors are outdoing themselves casting moms this summer. But…..being held prisoner? That’s got to be a setup for, at least, a passing mention of her having to subsist on rats. 😉

Great move but her character was named Diana, not Anna.
