JM would be a perfect choice to play Superman!

I think Joe is perfect for the role I haven’t caught up on much of his earlier pre-TrueBlood projects except for a few clips but he works for me as Alcide Heveraux and I think he should be considered for the “man of steel”

He’s definitely got the talent and (the body) to pull it off.

Don’t do it Joe, the Superman role is the kiss of death for any future in any other roles.

What is with this incessant need to cast younger and younger actors to play Superman? George Reeves was in his 40’s when he played him. During most of my life until various reboots whether it was Wayne Boring or Curt Swan he was depicted as a mature man in his mid 30’s to early 40’s. Superman was the hero that everyone else looked up to. How can they do it if he’s in his early 20’s? Brandon Routh did a fine job, the problem with the film had NOTHING to do with him. Were Christopher Reeve alive and able to walk I’d say he’d be just fine. Youth is NOT what makes Superman – super!

They can choose anyone as long as we don’t see that 70s look, don’t see the arrival from Krypton again, and don’t see Lex Luthor again! That’s all been done multiple times. Darkseid, Brainac, Solomon Grundy, or a plethora of other villians would rock.
